Whistler Classifieds

WhistlerClassifieds.com is a locally owned web site that aspires to become Whistler's trusted online source for anything and everything that might be for sale within the resort community.

Officially launched on November 1st, 2003, the service will initially be free of any charges to all users and advertisers.

VentureWeb assisted with the redevelopment of the site and the relaunch in March of 2007. We basically worked with the rudimentary system that was in place and modified and adjusted this to key functional requirements. The site is entirely hand coded and features a custom content management tool that allows full administration of the site.

The 2.0 Whistler Classifieds site features a great deal of user enhancements such as RSS feeds, an integrated search function (that works), a listing of the most popular searches, a listings area for Whistler businesses and banner advertising management.

The site is now building traffic from a number of key search terms and is gaining momentum all the time.
